Why did you enter the Micra Cup?I chose to participate in the Nissan Micra Cup to compete in a series with a new, economical and reliable race-car where all the competitors are on the same level from a technical standpoint. Another key attraction is the Micra Cup calendar, which includes races in Mont-Tremblant, the GP3R in Trois-Rivieres, the Montreal F1 Grand Prix, as well as my home track the Saint Eustache racetrack.
What are your goals in the 2015 season ?First and foremost, to experience my first full year of competitive road-racing.
Who is your motorsport idol :It's difficult to just name just one. I spent some time in France where I had the chance to meet Jean Ragnotti, the well-known rally driver for Renault whose exploits are legendary. I've always liked David Coulthard's sense of humour. The "Drift King" Keiichi Tsuchiya from Japan has also impressed me with his career achievements, attitude and approach to driving.
Do you have any race day rituals or superstitions?Be well rested, well fed, and have a clear head.
